Harangi Dam - Coorg
Harangi dam is built across the tributary of river Kaveri near Kushalnagar. This dam with a height of 47 mts. and 846 mts in length is an important picnic spot. Harangi Dam is the first Dam build across river Kaveri. One can access its beauty when the reservoir is fully filled with water during August to September. The dam is an ideal place for picnic, and there are some short walks along designated paths.Harangi Dam is a about 36 km from Madikeri.
